“OUR AIM IS TO MINIMIZE NEGATIVE EFFECTS THROUGHOUT THE CITY”

Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik made a statement on the subject. Mayor Özçelik said, “In order to ensure the orderly development of our city and to provide infrastructure services in an effective and sustainable manner, the issuance of building permits has been suspended before the necessary infrastructure works are completed within the framework of zoning plans, especially in areas where zoning roads have not been opened. This decision was taken to prevent infrastructure deficiencies and transportation problems throughout the city, and to minimize the negative effects of unplanned construction. The complete completion of infrastructure services such as roads, electricity, water and sewage is of critical importance for the sustainable and safe progress of construction. We kindly request all our citizens to comply with this decision and wait for the completion of the necessary infrastructure works. I believe that these measures will positively contribute to our future urban development.”
